Class Descriptions

  • A steady, intentional vinyasa-style class designed to build strength, mobility, and presence. Breath leads movement in a way that feels accessible, whether you're beginning, returning to yoga, or practicing regularly.

Expect a balanced, grounded flow with space to land, move, and reset.

    Best for: All levels

  • A more dynamic and layered flow that builds heat through creative sequencing and breath-led transitions. This class invites focus, stamina, and curiosity in movement while staying rooted in alignment and awareness. The pace is designed to keep you engaged and challenged.

Best for: Students with some yoga experience who enjoy a stronger, more continuous flow with opportunities to practice more challenging poses.

  • Restorative, non-strenuous class for stress relief, recovery, and deep unwinding.

The challenge is in the stillness in this class, which asks you to let go of "doing" and drop into "being." Class may include breathwork, meditation, and the use of props for support and comfort as we find restorative poses.

This class will activate your parasympathetic nervous system (the Rest & Digest function), helping to lower cortisol, reduce muscular tension, and improve recovery, digestion, and sleep quality.

Expect calm candlelight and chill vibes.

Best for: Anyone who needs to unwind, slow down, and let go of tension.

  • Designed for stiff bodies and busy lives, this class focuses on gentle, effective stretches to improve flexibility, ease tension, and increase mobility. Perfect for anyone feeling tight from stress, workouts, sitting, or everyday life, you’ll leave feeling looser, lighter, and more at ease in your body, all in just 30 minutes. Get loose and get on with your day.

    Best for: Anyone & Everyone

  • Build strength, stability, and body awareness through controlled, low-impact movement. This class focuses on core strength, posture, balance, and flexibility using classic Pilates exercises performed on the mat.

Best for: All levels, with modifications and progressions offered throughout class. Do expect some challenging moments as you use muscles you may not know you have!

Caitlyn wilson

Originally from Fort Collins, Colorado, Caitlyn Wilson grew up playing volleyball and spent years competing before injuries led her to explore new ways to stay active. After moving to Arizona to attend Grand Canyon University, where she met her husband, she discovered my passion for Pilates.

After being a regular student for a couple of years, she decided to expand her knowledge and get her certification. As someone who enjoys both weightlifting and Pilates, she loves that it challenges the body while being gentle on the joints. Through her own injury journey, she found Pilates to be an effective way to build strength, improve mobility, and move with confidence.

Caitlyn is a firm believer that Pilates is for everybody- not just dancers or rehabilitation clients, but also athletes, weightlifters, and anyone looking to move and perform better. Whether you're new to fitness or a seasoned athlete, Pilates can help you build strength, stability, and body awareness that carries into everyday life.  Having experienced the benefits of Pilates firsthand, Caitlyn is excited to help others find the same joy, confidence, and sense of achievement that keeps her coming back.

Caitlyn teaches Mat Pilates at Arise.
